Glasgow Film Theatre/Film Fest – 2020 IN UNDER twenty

Flex your filmmaking skills and join us in putting a positive spin on what has been a truly strange 12 months, in our end of year competition: 2020 In Under Twenty.

We invite all lovers of film to submit a 20 second film that celebrates something positive you have taken from this year. We know that 2020 has been a challenge for us all, and we want to round up the year by celebrating moments of positivity, however small they may be.

We welcome entries of any level of skill and in any style, from your DIY family videos to your short film projects. All we ask is that entries are under 20 seconds long, and about something positive in your life this year. No need for fancy equipment – shooting it on your phone will do. Watch some examples from the Glasgow Film team for inspiration!

We invite submissions via Instagram or TikTok using the #GFF2020UnderTwenty, or if you prefer you can submit your film privately by sending the file to industry@glasgowfilm.org.

Entries will be judged by our panel of film enthusiasts, with prizes up for grabs including a year’s MUBI subscription, tickets to Glasgow Film Festival 2021, a GFT CineCard membership and a selection of other film-related goodies.
